Our 2010 Summer Volleyball Camps are now over. Specific information on our 2011 Summer Volleyball Camps will be available in February, 2011. In the meantime, you can look at the information below to get an idea of what we will be offering in 2011.

Volleyball Summer Camps

Grades	3-8
Dates/Days	Camp I: June 21 - 25, Monday-Friday (5 days) Camp II: July 12 - 16, Monday-Friday (5 days)
Times	3:15 - 5: 15 pm
Description	Designed for beginning and intermediate players (no experience necessary), this camp will cover both individual volleyball skills and game strategy. Session time includes both instruction and controlled scrimmages. Camp also provides an opportunity to develop skills prior to trying out for a junior high and/or travel volleyball team. Campers will be divided by age and ability after observation by the coaching staff. (Number of different groups depends on the number of players that register for the camp.)

Equipment	Knee pads are optional and not really needed except for the intermediate players who will begin to work on diving for the ball. All campers should bring a water bottle containing PLAIN WATER. Please write your camper's name on the container.
Cost	Grades 3-4: $60/player Grade 5 - 8: $75/player

The Volleyball Facility at The Edge

The large indoor synthetic turf field of The Edge Sports Center, with its 30 foot ceilings and excellent lighting, makes it a natural setting to hold grass volleyball camps and leagues. In many ways, it is actually preferable to an outdoor grass volleyball setup. Our 'ground' is perfectly flat, and there is no wind or rain to dampen the spirits of the players. For instructional activities such as camps and clinics,, up to six full size courts (30' x 60') can be set up, with 8' between courts on the side, 10' from the wall on either end, and a full 40' in the center where spectators can watch.
