The Facility
The Edge Sports Center is a Family-oriented Sports Facility providing a friendly environment for instruction, practice, and both recreational and competitive league play for ‘turf-based’ sports. The centerpiece of the facility is the 60 x 40 yard indoor field equipped with the latest generation of synthetic turf that “looks, feels, and plays like real grass.”

“The Edge,” as we like to call it, provides a ‘Safe, Clean and Friendly’ environment for participants & spectators alike. The surface of the indoor field is comparable to a professionally maintained outdoor field. The surrounding walls are padded on all sides to a height of 8 feet. Professional lighting levels are achieved by over 110 400-watt Metal Halide lights. As an indoor facility, access is easily controlled – no one enters or leaves the facility without passing by the front desk and our video cameras. Protection from the sun, wind, rain and thunderstorms comes automatically – Summer Camp is never cancelled at The Edge!
The Competitive Edge Summer Sports Camp Program
The Competitive Edge Summer Camp program has been designed with the following principles in mind. The program
- Is instruction-based
- Is focused on the development of player abilities
- Utilizes experienced, knowledgeable, sport-specific instructors
- Gives individual attention via
- A 12:1(or less) instructor-to-player ratio
- A teaching technique based on player observation and tailored instruction
- Provides skill building through drills, contests, and mini-games
- Is high energy & fun
- Provides preparation for school & club team tryouts (applies to certain camps only, and for those desiring to join those programs)
Our instructors have playing and coaching experience in their respective sports at a level appropriate to the age and skill-level of each camp. This insures a quality learning experience while keeping costs at a reasonable level. In most cases, instructors belong to local sports clubs, middle or high school athletic departments or adult teams and are partnering with The Edge Sports Center to train the next generation of players. They live in the community and are committed to its quality of life.
