Kelly Foster
Pitching Instructor
 "Working with children is a passion for me no matter what age or level of ability. During lessons we concentrate on learning both the physical and emotional aspects of pitching to create both successful and confident pitchers. I believe that not only learning fundamentals and pitches are important in development, but also composure and life-long characteristics is key to the well-rounded development of a pitcher. My complete dedication to each and every girl I teach is never ending. We discuss both short and long term goals, and try to surpass both."
Kelly is a native to Fort Collins and graduated from FCHS. During her senior year the softball team won the State Championship. Kelly signed with a Division 1 school called Hofstra University, in New York to continue both her academic and athletic careers. Starting both her freshman and sophomore years she had wins over nationally ranked teams such as UCLA, and Texas Tech. Kelly then transferred to the University of Louisville, in Kentucky her junior year to finish her softball tenure. Career ending injuries stopped her from being an active pitcher on the squad, however allowed her to begin her coaching career. Kelly finished her last 2 years at UofL helping her own teammates with pitching.
Kelly has been giving lessons in Denver, and is extremely excited about helping pitchers in her local community by starting at THE EDGE.
