Adult Knitting Classes

Adults and High School students are welcome to join the following classes.

Beginning Knitting:
This class is designed to teach you the basics of knitting from casting on to binding off. Supplies will be provided for you to practice your knitting skills on a simple washcloth. When you are ready to take off on a project of your choice, you will purchase and bring your own needles and yarn to class. You can challenge yourself with a scarf, hat, mittens, felted bag or that sweater or afghan you've always wanted and have the help you need to keep the project going. Come find out why this creative art form can be so relaxing, social and at the same time - portable. If you've taken this class before join us to work on your own project, or join the Intermediate class offered on Wednesday evenings. Pat Ebersole is an avid knitter and will help you find the knitter within.

Project-based Intermediate Knitting:
If you already have a project going and need some help, or even if you just need some encouragement, join us for some expert assistance in getting it done. If you are looking for a project to do, contact Pat at The Edge before the class starts, and she will be glad to meet with you, discuss possible projects, and even accompany you to the store to get exactly what is needed.
