Our Instructional Flag Football Leagues are designed for beginning and intermediate players (not for 'travel team' players). No experience is necessary. [Note: In the Fall, we offer separate leagues for Beginners and Intermediates.]

Instruction is provided by experienced, local youth football instructors. Leagues cover both individual and team skills. All basic football skills are covered (as time and age allows).

Session time is split 50-50 between skill building through drills and small-sided, controlled games (no scores are kept). The focus is on LEARNING and on HAVING FUN!

Summer Instructional Flag Football Leagues
SUMMER Tackle Football Camp with Full Equipment
Instructional Flag Football League
This program will be led by experienced youth football coaches from the Northern Colorado area.
Equipment Required: All players must have a mouth guard. These can be purchased at The Edge Sports Center or at any local sporting goods store or department store.

Saturday Beginner Leagues
Open to all players in Grades K - 6 ('11 - '12 Grade)
Age Group Days Dates Times Session Length Cost
On the first day of the session, Saturday, March 24, there will be a Skills Clinic for ALL GRADES from 9:30 - 11 am. At the end of this clinic, we will break the players in smaller groups (based primarily on age) and announce at what time they will come back for the follow-on sessions.
Gr K - 2 Saturdays

3/24 - 5/19

 1 hour sessions in the range 8 am - 12 noon (tbd at the Skills Clinic on 3/24) 9 weeks $85
Gr 3 - 6 Saturdays

3/24 - 5/19

 1 1/4 hour sessions in the range 8 am - 12 noon (tbd at the Skills Clinic on 3/24) 9 weeks $95
Sunday Beginner Leagues
Open to all players in Grades K - 3 ('11 - '12 Grade)

Saturday Intermediate Leagues
Open to players in Grades 2 - 6 ( '11 - '12 Grade) that have previously completed a Beginning Flag Football Program at The Edge Sports Center or equivalent learning experience

At the end of this clinic [if the number of players allows], we will break the players in smaller groups (based primarily on age) and announce at what time they will come back for the follow-on sessions.
Gr 2 - 6 Saturdays 9/10 - 10/29 1 1/4 hour sessions in the range 12 noon - 3pm (tbd at the Skills Clinic on 9/10) 8 weeks $85
