Daily Hitting & Pitching Instruction with the FC Foxes

FC Foxes 6th Annual Winter Break Baseball Camps

This camp is a great way to get your 5 or 6 year old child started in baseball. No previous experience is necessary.  Camp covers basic baseball skills including throwing and catching the ball, fielding (grounders & fly balls), playing your position, and running the bases. Hitting instruction is also provided in separate groups: tee-ball hitting off a tee and 'coach pitch' hitting. Camp is appropriate for new and returning Tee-Ball players as well as for players making the transition to 'Coach Pitch' baseball from Tee-ball.

Players will be divided by skill and age for the camp. Number of separate groups depends on the number of players that register.

The Fort Collins Foxes were the 2007 & 2005 Champions of the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League. We have arranged for a number of their position players and pitchers to provide youth baseball instruction at The Edge Sports Center.

Current and Former Position Players & Pitchers of the FC Foxes Baseball Team that are providing instruction at The Edge Sports Center during winter break include:

This camp is targeted to players who have little to no experience playing baseball. All basic offensive and defensive skills will be taught, including throwing, catching fielding (grounders & fly balls), hitting, basic base running skills, and position play.

Players will be divided by skill and age for the camp. Number of separate groups depends on the number of players that register.

This camp is targeted to players who have already played at least one season of baseball at the Recreational Level. "All Skills" topics covered include fielding (grounders & fly balls), hitting mechanics, basic base running skills, team defense & pitching/catching techniques (for those interested).

Players will be divided by skill and age for the camp. Number of separate groups depends on the number of players that register.

Current and Former Position Players & Pitchers of the FC Foxes Baseball Team that are providing instruction at The Edge Sports Center during winter break include:

All of the FC Foxes players are current collegiate baseball players, many looking to break into the professional ranks after graduation.

These camps are targeted for both Competitive/Travel Team and "Level III" Players as well as players who will be trying out for teams at those levels of play. Players in these camps must be willing and eager to work hard and improve their overall baseball skills. Topics covered by camp include:

• Offensive Skills Camp
  • Hitting (including video analysis), base running, bunting, etc.
• Pitcher/Catcher Skills Camp
  • Pitching Skills: throwing mechanics (including video analysis) grips for different pitches, etc.
  • Catcher Skills, including blocking, throwing to bases, bunt defense, etc.
  • •Live pitching work with pitchers and catchers
  Defensive Skills and Position Play Camp
  • Including position play at all positions (except catcher) and team defense (double plays, backing up, relays, cutoffs, bunt defense, etc.)

Current and Former Position Players & Pitchers of the FC Foxes Baseball Team that are providing instruction at The Edge Sports Center during winter break include:

$50 for any ONE Advanced Clinic

$85 for any TWO Advanced Clinics

$120 for all THREE Advanced Clinics

SMALL GROUP HITTING INSTRUCTION is scheduled on WEEKDAYS

• On School Days: 4:30 - 5:30 pm
• On Vacation Days: 9-10am

The Fort Collins Foxes were the 2007 & 2005 Champions of the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League. We have arranged for a number of their Northern Colorado position players and pitchers to provide youth baseball instruction at The Edge Sports Center during their Winter Breaks from college.

Choose from a variety of programs

• Hitting instruction
  • Small Group Format (4 or less players for each Foxes player)(1 hour)
  • Private, one-on-one Instruction (1 player per Foxes player) (1/2 hour)
    
    
• Pitching, Fielding, OR Catcher instruction
  • Private, one-on-one Instruction (1 player per Foxes player) (1/2 hour)

Current and Former Position Players & Pitchers of the FC Foxes Baseball Team that are providing instruction at The Edge Sports Center during winter break include:

Hitting Lessons

• $12/player per 1-hour small group (4 or less) lesson

Private Hitting, Pitching, Fielding, or Catcher Lessons: $25 per half-hour private lesson.

For the weekday small-group hitting instruction, parents/players must call at least 1-day in advance to reserve a spot. Walk-ins on the day of the lesson are not guaranteed to have an instructor available.

For private hitting, pitching, fielding, and catcher lessons, parents/players must also call ahead and schedule a lesson at a time when the instructor is available.
