The Edge Sports Center is a new 32000 sq foot indoor sports facility - the only one of its kind in Northern Colorado. The centerpiece of the building is its large 180' x 122' indoor field, outfitted with the latest generation of synthetic sport turf that looks, feels, and plays like real grass. This field provides enough open space for a full-sized baseball or softball diamond. The field can be quickly converted to a large indoor soccer field or lacrosse practice area.
For safety, the walls of the playing area are padded to a height of 8 feet. Above this, netting protects the roof structure and lighting which is located more than 30 feet about the field level. Field lighting has been designed to meet professional Minor League Baseball standards.
Auxiliary areas within the facility include permanent baseball/softball batting cages, a workout room and a meeting room with seating for up to 55 people. Outdoors there is a dedicated pick-up & drop-off lane as well as a well-lit parking lot with over 80 spaces.
