Facilities: Volleyball

The large indoor synthetic turf field of The Edge Sports Center, with its 30 foot ceilings and excellent lighting, makes it a natural setting to hold grass volleyball camps and leagues. In many ways, it is actually preferable to an outdoor grass volleyball setup. Our 'ground' is perfectly flat, and there is no wind or rain to dampen the spirits of the players.

For INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES such as camps and clinics,, up to six full size courts (30' x 60') can be set up, with 8' between courts on the side, 10' from the wall on either end, and a full 40' in the center where spectators can watch.

For HIGH SCHOOL OR ADULT LEAGUE PLAY, our initial plan is to setup three game courts PLUS 2 warmup-courts, as shown below. This configuration allows at least 10 feet of clear space all around each of the three game courts, with additional space for spectators. Alternatively, we could eliminate the warm-up courts and add two additional game courts with 5' on either side and 10-20' off the ends of each court. Please let us know your thoughts - we want to create the optimal configuration for league play!
