The Owners
Phil and Pat Ebersole are the co-owners of The Edge Sports Center, LLC. They have lived in Ft. Collins for over 20 years, moving here in 1983 when their oldest child, Cailin, was just two months old. Cailin is now graduated from high school and pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre Performance in Chicago, IL. Their second child, Ian, is a high school senior, and enjoys playing on the high school baseball team as well as performing in band and choir. Their third child, Eileen, is a high school sophomore. She is active in both high school and club soccer here in town. Both Ian and Eileen will be employees at The Edge when it opens this fall.
Phil is a former executive at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he worked for over 28 years in various Research and Development and Marketing departments before taking the Early Retirement option in August of 2002. He has been active in youth baseball and soccer in Ft. Collins over the past 10 years. Currently, he is the Chair of the Competitive Committee of the Ft. Collins Baseball Club and also serves on its board. The idea for The Edge Sports Center began when he was coaching an FCBC U13 Baseball team in 2002-2003, and was frustrated by the lack of indoor facilities in the area. Phil will act as General Manager of The Edge.
Pat holds a teaching degree in Secondary Education from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She specialized in languages, in particular French and Spanish. After spending a year in France while in college, as well as living there for almost four years with Phil before they had children, she is fluent in French. Pat has been a steady volunteer in the Poudre School District, in particular at Lincoln Junior High School and more recently at Poudre High School. Pat will assist Phil in managing the overall facility, as well as taking her turn in the Pro Shop and at the front desk.
